Suwanee Creek Park is an 85-acre natural park near Suwanee’s southern edge, best for families who want a picnic, a shaded trailhead, or an activity that feels a little more adventurous than “go run over there.” It is the trailhead for the Suwanee Creek Greenway and also has additional hard- and soft-surface trails, so it works for walkers, nature kids, and families who want a flexible outdoor reset. The park is home to Suwanee’s 18-hole disc golf course, a short technical course designed by Professional Disc Golf Association Hall of Fame member John David, with wooded shade, a few tougher holes, and two water-hazard throws. There is also a 1-mile orienteering course with 19 markers, plus two pavilions, picnic tables, an outdoor classroom, public restrooms, and about 100 parking spaces. Bring discs if you want to play; no reservations are needed for the course.

The PlayTown Suwanee trailhead has a playground for a break before or after the walk.
